The disinformation on the internet is thicker than coal sludge. Science has taken a back seat to EV cheerleading & religious zeal that ignores the facts.
There is no way on God’s once-green earth that EV charging stations are going to happily suck energy from a renewable energy grid. COAL has been, is today, and will continue to be the dirty skeleton in the closet.
At the same time, wind farms have sprung up like weeds with petals hanging limply in the wind. In 2021 we passed mile after mile of wind turbines that were more than 90% Code Blue dead still. Maintenance of these behemoths is horrendous, they are damned ugly, and line losses to residential customers is sky high. – Chanting “renewable energy” while your tax dollars go into foreign pockets is not going to “green” the electric grid.
The Old Nitwit in the White House can throw all the snitty fits he wants. Electric vehicles are nowhere near ready for cleaning polluted city air. (Shhhh! Don’t tell the public! The coal boys can’t make a dime in profits without a little help from their Big Government buddies.)
